Three Tips For Healthy Long Hair

1. Rinse and wash your hair with cold water only

Hot water damages your hair. The heat stresses it unnecessarily and is said to open the cuticles of the hair shafts while cold water seals the moisture in the hair. That’s what you want: Preventing your naturally healthy, shiny hair.

2. Don’t brush your hair while it is still wet

Wet hair is sensitive. Don’t use a brush or a comb while it is still wet or otherwise you are most likely to overstretch and break it. Take your time and gently detangle it with your fingers while it is still wet.

3. Let your hair air dry as often as possible

Heat damages your hair. After washing it you want to detangle it carefully with your fingers and let it air dry. Don’t unnecessarily stress your hair by blow drying it with hot air. Take your time in the mornings or even wash your hair in the evenings to be able to skip blow drying. If you are in a rush: Use a blow dryer and switch it to cold air.

By following these three tips for healthy long hair you can make a huge difference in reaching the goal of keeping it beautiful and shiny.
